Christmas 2020: Hope and cheer for thyroid patients

It’s been quite a year, so we send you good cheer.

This season may be a socially-distanced experience for many of you, but still, you are not alone.

We’re stronger together.

We’re going to keep advancing thyroid science & policy, because our thyroid health outcomes matter.

What are “thyroid” health outcomes?

  • Heart & cardiovascular health
  • Kidney health
  • Liver health
  • Bone health
  • Gastrointestinal health
  • Mental health
  • Muscle and skin health
  • Visual and hearing health
  • Diabetes health
  • Adrenal hormone health
  • Pregnancy & fetal health
  • And the list goes on and on…

Sufficient thyroid hormone signaling, especially by T3 hormone, is needed in every organ and every tissue.

When your thyroid hormones are optimized to suit the unique needs of your body, everything works better.

That’s what we care about — getting healthier, and staying as healthy as we can be so we can help others.

Let’s be grateful for all the support and education we share with each other and the world through our thyroid website and support groups.

Sincerely,
Tania S. Smith, President,

And from our Board members,
Advisory group,
And our peer moderators on our Facebook groups.

Thyroid disease is important enough to warrant a post even on Christmas day.

I couldn’t agree more that the issues which affect sufferers every day of the year should not be forgotten just because it is a holiday. The sufferers don’t forget – they do what they always do – carry on suffering.

Thank you – and happy rest of holiday to all.

Thanks for your thoughts. It is true, no day is off limits for offering encouragement to those who still suffer.
